About Us

St. Patrick’s Academy, Clement Town, Dehradun is one of the latest additions of Patrician Educational endeavours in India; its  the next door sister concern of St. Joseph's Academy, Dehradun and St. George's College.  On 18th of July, 2012 the foundation stone was blessed and laid by Rev. Fr. Anthony Dass and Rev. Bro. Bosco, the Indian Province Leader of Patrician Brothers respectively. As we Brothers commemorate the 200th death anniversary of our beloved Founder Bishop Daniel Delany, it would be a fitting tribute to him, who dared to dream big. It is our hope and dream, that through the guidance and protection of St. Patrick the patron of the school and our founder, St. Patrick's Academy will be a place where the children of, in and around Clement Town, Dehradun will able to recognize, realize and achieve their fullest potential and contribute positively to the society at large. May they all be guided to seek the truth as stated by the motto of our school 'QuerereVerum'. The school opened its gates for the children in the year 2014. Within a short span of time St. Patrick’s Academy has made its mark among the best schools of the town. St. Patrick’s Academy understands the changing needs of education in the 21st century and takes on the challenge of giving the students varied learning experiences and opportunities to help them to be competent, thinking, moral individuals. Education at St. Patrick’s Academy is truly a three way process among the student, school and the parents.

The school is located on a 15000 sq.ft (Apporx) site and is equipped with an environment friendly modern architecture with a class academic and sporting infrastructure. St Patrick’s Academy has created a benchmark in the purposeful use of technology in school education. The aim of St. Patrick’s Academy, is to develop like-minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.

Here, a balance is sought between acquisition of essential knowledge and skills, development of conceptual understanding, demonstration of positive attitudes, and taking responsible action. This model of trans-disciplinary learning, students engage with a range of subjects: Languages (English and Hindi), Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, Arts (Music, Dance and Visual Arts) and Personal, Social and Physical Education. Information and Communication Technology is integral to all teaching and learning processes and thus focuses on skills and promotes responsible use of technology and information. We also understand that students learn significantly more in a happy, well-balanced environment. Our happy and supportive environment enriches the learning process and provides the students with a well-rounded education that builds confidence and self-discipline.The learning across the subjects is facilitated through the ‘Thematically Pedagogy’, for students to actively construct meaning of the world around them, and for purposeful learning.
